In the battle of #1 Maize South vs #4 ranked Hutchinson, it took a super effort to rally from trailing 43-41 going into the fourth quarter for Hutch High to outscore the Mavericks 23-12 in the final period to win 64-55. Hutchinson senior Wade Meyer picked the right time to get hot as he scored 12 of his 15 point total in the fourth quarter including going 4 for 4 from the foul stripe.

Hutchinson trailed by as many as nine points in the 2nd half, but found a way to pull within 2 going into the final quarter then came out red hot to put the Mavericks away going down the stretch.
