
JACKSON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas woman on drug charges after a weekend traffic stop.
Just after midnight January 23, a sheriff’s deputy stopped a Ford Fiesta for a traffic infraction near 262nd and US Highway 75, according to Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse.
The traffic stop resulted in a drug investigation that led to the discovery of methamphetamine.
Deputies arrested the driver, Gayle Renee Glenn, 38, of Liberal, Kansas on requested charges that in included possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Glenn is being held in the Jackson County Jail.
