HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutch Rec kicked off its new Civic Rec registration program on Tuesday. The new window on the Hutch Rec website will allow for easier registration for all Hutch Rec programs and activities.
“Through research and recommendations, we felt in the industry that the Civic Rec would serve our residents better,” Hutch Rec Director Tony Finlay said.
Finlay says the new format is easier and hopefully quicker to use.
“It’s really not a lot different in what it does but it’s a cleaner look for the customer,"Finlay said. "When they go online there won't be as many steps to register for a program that they were used to in the past.”
The new platform lists all events and activities available at Hutch Rec along with registration fees listed for each program or event.
Finlay says that patrons will still be able to register in person at any Hutch Rec office and walk up registration for all of the Hutch Rec race series events will still be available to last minute entries.
