HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Voter turnout in Reno County was better than 65% on Tuesday. According to figures released by the Clerk's Office 27,259 patrons cast a ballot which is a turnout of just under 66%.

Mailed out ballots are still being accepted until Friday as long as they are postmarked by November 3.

There are still some write in and other ballots left to be reconciled. That could have an effect on the 102 nd Kansas House seat where incumbent Jason Probst won by just three votes. The county will canvase the votes sometime next week.
