HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The need for area families is great, and the Salvation Army has been working to make sure those in need can have a better Christmas season.
And the Salvation Army is getting a tremendous shot in the arm thanks to a Hutchinson business. A donation of $11,000 has been pledged from a local Toyota dealership.
The dealership will hold a special ceremony to deliver the check in the coming days. They hope that other local businesses have the ability to follow suit and make a donation to the agency, as well.
More than 750 families have signed up for assistance through the Salvation Army this season.
