Glenda Jeanne Meyer, 85, of Little River, passed away July 20, 2022, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. She was born January 5, 1937, in Wichita, the daughter of Glenn Francis and Ruby Doris Land Mustoe.
Glenda has resided in Little River since 1973, formerly of Augusta. She graduated from Wichita East High School, and later received her bachelor’s degree in education from Wichita State University with the class of 1973. Glenda was a business teacher at Little River High School from 1973, until her retirement in 1998. She attended the First United Methodist Church, Little River. Glenda loved reading, animals and watching TV, and most of all spending time with her family.
She is survived by her two children, Debra Swenson and husband Cecil of Lyons, and Craig Meyer of Wichita; aunt, Charlene Land of FL; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Glenda is preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Tony and Michael Meyer; daughter, Melissa Meyer; and granddaughter, Audra Kelley.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, July 25, 2022, at the First United Methodist Church, Little River, with Pastor Anna Borders officiating. Burial will follow at the Bean Memorial Cemetery, Little River. Visitation will be from 10:00 until service time at the church with family present.
