🏀 Brooklyn Nets Forward Jalen Wilson earns NBA 2K25 Summer League MVP

After averaging 21.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.6 steals over a five-game span, former Kansas standout and current Brooklyn Nets forward Jalen Wilson was named the NBA 2K25 Summer League's Most Valuable Player.

Wilson, a Denton, Texas native led the Nets to a 3-2 record in the Summer League, shooting 47.3 percent from the field with a 55.0 percent clip from beyond the arc. The second-year player posted a 33-point, 10-rebound double-double in the team's final game, which resulted in a game-winner in overtime from Wilson to lead the Nets to a 102-100 win over the Orlando Magic. Wilson added 27 points against the New York Knicks, 25 points against the Indiana Pacers and a pair of 12-point performances.

Wilson, the No. 51 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, was the second-leading scorer in the Summer League with 109 total points and three games with at least 25 points. Along with being named the league's MVP, Wilson was named to the NBA 2K25 All-Summer League Second Team.

A 2022 NCAA National Champion and 2023 Consensus All-America First Team selection while at Kansas, in 2023-24 during his rookie season, Wilson averaged 5.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 15.4 minutes per game with the Nets.
