Wichita, KS – Evan Sisk pitched the final two innings to close out a 2-1 win for Wichita over the Frisco RoughRiders Thursday to take a two games to one lead in the series.
Jair Camargo got things started for Wichita after he slammed an RBI-double in the bottom of the first. Camargo went one-for-four. Both of Wichita's runs came in the first.
The Roughriders scored in the top of the fifth off Ezequiel Duran’s RBI-double, but were unable to pick up any more runs.
Matt Canterino started for Wichita. He pitched a shutout 3 2/3 innings with two hits and four strikeouts.
The bullpen pitched 5 1/3 innings and allowed one run. Melvi Acosta earned the win in relief. First pitch Friday in Wichita is set for 6:35 p.m.
