HUTCHINSON, Kan. — After seeing the hourly forecast for this Saturday with thunderstorms predicted between noon and 2 p.m. and north of 80% chance of rain all day that day, the Kiwanis are going to push our event by a week.

They will plan on everything being the same, just it happening a week later.&nbsp; The Downtown Hutch Chili &amp; Soup Fest will now be Saturday, Nov. 9.&nbsp; 

If your team cannot participate, they understand.&nbsp; We hope this won't create too much heartburn for anyone.

While we are sad to have to postpone this event for a week, we are happy for the rain because we know Reno County needs it!
