
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County Department of Aging will host its next Community Collaboration Series program on Thursday, June 18, focusing on hospice care and end-of-life services.
The event, titled "Hospice 101," will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Reno County Department of Aging, located at 120 West Ave. B in Hutchinson.
The featured speaker will be Alisha Smith of Gentiva Hospice, who will provide an overview of hospice services, explain how hospice care supports patients and families, and discuss resources available to individuals facing serious illness.
The Community Collaboration Series is designed to connect residents, caregivers, and community partners with information and services that can improve quality of life and support healthy aging.
The program is open to community members interested in learning more about hospice care and the services available in Reno County.
