HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The City of Hutchinson has installed the temporary traffic signals on Main Street for the upcoming Kansas State Fair.
The lights have been installed at 20th and Main, along with 23rd and Main.
The temporary signals will be set to flash mode until Sept. 6, allowing traffic to adjust to the changes. The lights will be set to regular operation from Sept. 6 through Sept. 20.
The reasoning for the temporary traffic signals is to help control possible congestion issues for the upcoming Kansas State Fair, which runs Sept. 6-15.
