UPDATE 10:45.— South Hutchinson fire crews responded to American Packaging just before 10 a.m. when a gazebo that is used for employee breaks caught fire. The fire quickly spread to the grass and burned past the company building into an open field.

Crews were able to stop the fire at the property line with Collins Bus.

No word on what caused the fire but a discarded cigarette might have been a factor. There were no injuries. Crews are still on the scene putting out hot spots.
