KINGMAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 12:30 p.m. Sunday in Kingman County.
THe Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Ford F250 driven by 34-year-old Luke Edward Rohlman of Pretty Prairie was northbound on Kansas 11 at NW 20th Street.
The pickup attempted to pass a northbound 2011 Ford Focus driven by 82-year-old Anna L. Smith of Kingman who was slowing to make a left turn. The pickup struck the Focus in the driver side door.
EMS transported Smith to the hospital in Kingman. Rohlman was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained a the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
