USD 312 has selected Mace Krol as its next District Activities Director after approval by the Haven Board of Education.
Krol joins Haven Schools following four seasons at Hutchinson High School, where he served as head baseball coach, a physical education teacher and assistant activities director for Hutchinson Public Schools. In his new position, he will oversee the district's athletic and activities programs while also teaching several class periods during the school day.
District officials said they are excited to welcome Krol and his family to the Wildcat community and believe his leadership, enthusiasm and experience will benefit students, coaches, activity sponsors and the school district.
Krol said he is eager to begin his new role.
"I'm just excited. I'm looking forward to the opportunity and am ready to get to work."
As head baseball coach at Hutchinson High School, Krol compiled a 36-58 record over four seasons before accepting the Haven position.
USD 312 officials said they look forward to the positive impact Krol will have as the district prepares to begin the 2026-27 school year.
