The Food Bank of Reno County held a grand opening at its new location on Thursday morning.
The organization is now operating at 921 E. 4th Ave., Suite A, in Hutchinson, where individuals and families can visit during designated hours to receive food assistance.
Clients can now stop by during regular operating hours to shop for food and household essentials.
Current service hours include:
- Tuesday: 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Thursday: Noon – 7 p.m.
- Friday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The Food Bank is closed on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

The move and updated service model are aimed at improving accessibility for Reno County residents facing food insecurity, allowing clients to receive assistance more easily during the week.
