HUTCHINSON — The Hutchinson Community Foundation is accepting proposals for the second Impact Cycle of its 2026 Fund for Reno County Grants, offering financial support to nonprofit organizations serving Reno County.
Established in 1990, the Fund for Reno County serves as a permanent resource to address changing community needs and opportunities. Foundation officials said grant funding is intended to support innovative projects, collaborative efforts, new efficiencies, critical community needs or initiatives that can leverage additional resources for the benefit of Reno County residents.
Organizations may apply under one of four funding categories.
The Dynamic Culture category supports projects that enhance and celebrate local arts, theater, history and tourism, with grants of up to $20,000 available. The Thriving Kids category also offers up to $20,000 for projects focused on high-quality early childhood care and education, youth development and family support.
Community Catalyst grants provide up to $2,500 for projects that improve community engagement, communication, confidence and pride. The Strong Organizations category offers up to $7,500 for initiatives that strengthen the capacity, sustainability and resilience of community-based organizations in Reno County.
Applications must be submitted by organizations with 501(c)(3) nonprofit status that serve Reno County. Groups that do not hold a 501(c)(3) designation may still participate by securing a nonprofit fiscal sponsor.
Grant proposals must be submitted online by Aug. 7 through the Hutchinson Community Foundation website.
Those seeking additional information may contact Senior Program Officer Jan Steen at jan@hutchcf.org or by calling 620-663-5293.
