HUTCHINSON, Kan. - The Kansas Cannons took the 2nd game of the two-game series from the Hutchinson Monarchs by the score of 6-2 Friday night at Hobart-Detter Field in Hutchinson.
The Monarchs (8-5) now are on the road for a two game series vs the Kingman Islanders (6-7) on Saturday and Sunday at the Kingman Riverside Park.
Hutch will return home for three straight games beginning on Monday, June 24th with a rescheduled game vs the Great Bend Black Cats. This game is a make-up game from a rainout early in the month. The Haysville Aviators will travel to Hobart-Detter for games Tuesday and Wednesday night. Pitch time is 7pm for all three home Monarch contests.
