The Kansas City Royals on Tuesday announced that they have placed three pitchers on the 15-day injury list.

Alec March, Kyle Wright and James McArthur were placed on the DL on Monday evening.

Marsh is dealing with right shoulder impingement; Wright is dealing with a shoulder surgery and McArthur has an injury to his right elbow.

Mash has two years of big-league experience and in 2024 pitched 129 innings with a 4.53 ERA and finished with a 9-9 record.  He spent a portion of the season as the Royals' fifth starter.

Wright, who the Royals recieved from the Braves in 2023, missed the entire 2024 season as he dealt with an injury that required surgery.  He won 21 games for the Braves in 2022, which is the only season of his career where he pitched more than 38 innings.

McArthur came out of the bullpen for the Royals in 2024. He was 5-7 on the season with a 4.92 ERA with 18 saves.

The Royals open the season at home on Thursday against the Guardians.  First pitch is set for 3:10 p.m.
