Today is the last day to register for a babysitting class being sponsored by Hutch Rec and Kansas CPR.
The two organizations are offering a hands-on babysitting class aimed at responsible young people ready to take on the important job of caring for children. In just two hours, participants will learn CPR for infants, children, and adults, along with how to use an AED and handle basic first aid situations.
Snacks, prizes, and a certificate of completion are included for those who finish the course. Organizers say it’s a great way to make sure future babysitters feel prepared, safe, and ready to succeed.
