FULL RANKINGS
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — For the first time since the 2014-15 season, the Hutchinson Community College women's basketball team is ranked No. 1 in the NJCAA Division I poll.
The last time the Blue Dragons were ranked No. 1 was the final poll of the 2014-15 season, per HutchCC Sports Information Director, Steve Carpenter.
Hutchinson received all 10 first place votes.
The Blue Dragons are off to a 23-0 start, 17-0 in the Jayhawk Conference.
HutchCC began the season unranked, but have made the steady climb to the top. The Blue Dragons have made stops at No. 22, No. 15, No. 14, No. 11, No. 6, No. 5, No. 4 and most recently No. 2 for the past two weeks.
The Blue Dragons are off to the fourth-best start in program history, which spans 50 seasons. The team is currently riding the fifth-best win streak in program history, as well.
