Vicky Larson, 74, born September 1, 1949 to Marion and Lotta (Potter) Kinsey in Yates Center, Kansas, passed away peacefully April 5, 2024, in Hutchinson, Kansas.
Vicky was preceded in death by both of her parents, her sister, Lois Huntington, and her brother, Richard Kinsey.
She is survived by her daughters, Donette Porter, Jody Glenister, brother, Raymond Kinsey, sisters, Charlotte (Lonnie) Reese, Kora and Mary Lou, grandchildren, Christina (Stephen), Amanda, Nathan, Blake (Jessica), many nieces and nephews as well as extended grandchildren.
Vicky was a hardworking and passionate person who loved her family. She had many hobbies, including reading, crochet, sewing, knitting, hunting and fishing. She graduated with a business degree and worked hard for many years, jobs including accounting, insurance work, welding, and a mail carrier for USPS. She was a huge Chiefs fan and was not shy about her love of KC.
Some of her favorite times were spending holidays with family, attending family reunions, and her beloved Bichons. She leaves Jazzy behind, but has now rejoined Piper and Keisha.Vicky was a feisty fighter filled with love and will be forever missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations for Vicky's final expenses can be made out to the family, in care of Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home, and can be mailed or called in to the funeral home.
