HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Stacy Goss with Hospice & Homecare of Reno County said progress is continuing on the annual Remember Me Tree fundraiser.

"As of right now, the Remember Me Tree for 2021 has raised $26,354," Goss said Monday. "We are a little more than halfway to our $50,000 goal."

It's not too late to donate.

"We are still taking donations in our office at 2020 North Waldron," Goss said. "We also have our website set up for online donations. If you prefer to mail a check, you can pick up a mail form at the 30th Street Dillons."

Make sure those donations are postmarked by December 31 if you need the deduction on this year's taxes.

"We will gladly accept donations if they come in a little bit late," Goss said. "We understand with the holidays, the mail might be a little backed up, or people may be unable to stop by the office, that sort of thing."

Hospice & Homecare of Reno County serves residents who reside within a 50-mile radius of Hutchinson.
