HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson High School Athletic Director Steve Kappenman has announced the hiring of Dafne Hobbs as the head cross country coach.

"Dafne is an avid runner and a Hutch High alum," Kappenman said. "She will lead the Salthawk cross country team with the help of new assistant coach Paige Spencer. Paige is a new math teacher at Hutchinson High School."

Hobbs is a first-grade teacher at Morgan Elementary in the USD 308 school district, and also serves as an assistant girls swimming coach at HHS.
