Stage 9 is auditioning for April performances of “A Piece of My Heart”. &nbsp;The date of the performances is the weekend after Easter, April 24-26 with matinee on April 27. &nbsp;Performances will be at Stage 9, which is at 9 South Main here in Hutchinson. &nbsp;

A Piece of My Heart is a drama based on women’s experiences in Vietnam and after. &nbsp;Nurses, USO, army intelligence and Red Cross. &nbsp;&nbsp;

Kris Anshutz will be having auditions on Thursday the 20 from 6:30 to 8 PM and Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM. If you are not available at those times you can call her at 620-664-1489 and set up a time. &nbsp;&nbsp;

Rehearsals will begin on Feb. 24 with rehearsals set for Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. &nbsp;They will be flexible in the beginning. &nbsp;&nbsp;

Here are the roles that they are filling for this production. &nbsp; 1 Male – Age 20-40. He will play all the male roles and will not be needed at all rehearsals&nbsp;&nbsp; 6 Female parts will be cast. •&nbsp; A black woman from age 30-50 •&nbsp; An Amerasian from age 20-40 •&nbsp; A woman singer preferably a guitar player from age 20-40 •&nbsp;&nbsp;And three more women to play nurses from age 20-40.
