
The Hutchinson City Council will meet this evening in a regularly scheduled meeting at City Hall.
On the council's agenda is an ordinance that will make changes to taxicab regulations in the city of Hutchinson.
The council will also consider a resolution for a commercial facade Development Program. The program will encourage local businesses and property owners to enhance their properties. The program aims to reduce blight, improve building facades and increase the areas of appeal for residents, customers, tenants and prospective businesses.
In another item on the agenda, Also, the council will look to approve an agreement between the city and Interfaith Housing that would provide funding to Interfaith to acquire dilapidated residential properties with the goal of demolishing unsafe structures and transferring the cleared lots to the Hutchinson Land Bank for redevelopment.
