HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The number of deaths in Reno County because of COVID-19 increased to 13 on Tuesday.

The Reno County Health Department confirms a thirteenth local resident with laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 has died. That makes nine such deaths in the county this month.&nbsp;

Out of respect for the family, the Reno County Health Department will not release any further information about this individual.&nbsp;

Please continue to be vigilant by washing your hands, social distance by at least six feet or more, wear a mask when you are in public places and stay at home if you are not feeling well. It is very important that people continue to follow the guidelines to help decrease the spread of COVID-19.&nbsp;
