🏈 Thrice as nice: Andale captures third title in a row

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Andale (13-0) racked up 570 yards of offense en route to its third-straight 3A state championship. 

The Indians gained 504 yards on the ground, led by Gage Prosser's 164 yards and three touchdowns. 

Cody Parthemer added 154 yards on the ground. 

Frontenac (10-3) gained 48 yards on 45 plays. 

Justice Compton led the Raider rushing attack with 30 yards. 

Andale opened the contest with a 46-yard Jonah Meyer TD run. Meyer finished with 55 rushing yards. 

Prosser and quarterback Wyatt Spexarth each scored on 1-yard runs to give Andale an 18-0 advantage at the half. 

The Indians scored four times in the third quarter to go up 45-0. Prosser scored twice from 50-plus yards out (54 and 50) and Spexarth added another 1-yard sneak.

Riley Marx capped the scoring in the third with a 35-yard TD run. 

Owen Eck scored one last time for the Indians with 2:25 left.

Andale had 18 first downs to Frontenac's five. 

The Indians were 7 of 11 on third down. The Raiders were 2 of 13. 

Andale scored on all four of its red zone trips. 

Kelby Eck led Andale with nine tackles.
