TROON, Scotland —Former Hutchinson Community College golfer Dominic Clemons' first-ever major championship came to a close on Friday at the Royal Troon Golf Club.
Clemons missed the cut at the 152nd edition of The Open Championship after carding a 7-over 78 second round on Friday.
The former NJCAA All-American finished tied for 136th overall with a 13-over two-day total.
Clemons did finish above some notable names on the leaderboard, including Tiger Woods (+14), Wyndham Clark (+16) and John Daly (Withdrew).
