The Hutchinson Art Center is excited to announce the addition of Akyra Rush to its team as the new media manager.
A Hutchinson native, Rush recently graduated from Emporia State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She brings with her a strong passion for digital storytelling and a commitment to creating engaging content that inspires and builds community.
“I love using digital platforms to connect with people in meaningful ways,” Rush said. “I’m thrilled to join the Hutchinson Art Center and can’t wait to share fresh ideas and creativity with our audiences.”
When she’s not brainstorming her next great design, Rush enjoys reading, watching reality TV, and spending time with her cats. She’s often spotted with a sweet treat in one hand and her phone in the other, capturing moments and crafting stories.
The Art Center invites the community to stop by, say hello, and give Akyra a warm welcome as she steps into this new role.
