RENO COUNTY — A McPherson USD 418 bus was involved in an accident with a deer Friday morning on K-61 in Reno County.

According to the report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, around 8:10 Friday morning, the bus hit a deer on K-61 between the 56th Avenue and 82nd Avenue exits at milepost 62.8 northbound.

There was one passenger on the bus and 57-year-old Jose Luis Hernandez of McPherson was driving. No one was hurt.
