

Wade Darell Richardson, 87, of Hutchinson, died June 26, 2020, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born November 26, 1932, in Stafford, to Earl and Mildred (Fuson) Richardson.
Darell was a graduate of Hutchinson High School and attended Adela Hale Business College. He was drafted by the Army during the Korean conflict and served two years in Germany. He was the plant manager at Winchester Packing Company for many years.
He was a member of Corner Stone Baptist Church, where he faithfully helped maintain the lawn.
On September 15, 1950, he married Twyla Colleen Rentel, in Hutchinson. They shared 67 years together before her passing on January 22, 2018.
Darell is survived by sister, Earldean Hamilton, Sylvia; son, Brad (Sarah) Richardson, Lawrence; daughter-in-law, Paula Richardson, Hutchinson; foster son, David Polson (Faith), Gardner; grandchildren, Ali Atkinson (Brad), Wichita, Samuel Richardson (Stephanie), Brandon, FL, and Ross Richardson, Lawrence. Darell had five great-grand-daughters; Connor, Madeline, Parker and Mackenzie Atkinson, Harlow Richardson; and one great-grandson, Miles Richardson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Twyla Richardson; son, Mark Richardson; and sister, Helen Berry.
Per Darell’s wishes, his body was donated to the Kansas University Medical Center. A service announcement will be made at a later date.
