HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson USD 308 School Board gave approval to pay increases for administrators and classified staff during Monday’s meeting.
All administrative staff received a $1,500 flat increase, or about 1.65%. All classified staff received a pay increase equal to 2.5%. The administrative increase will total about $48,000 to the budget, while the classified pay increases total around $245,000. The district is still in negotiations with the teachers union on a new contract for this year.
The increases take effect immediately and run through the rest of the 2020-2021 school year.
