RENO COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 7:30a.m. Wednesday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Dodge Journey driven by Caitlin Brooke Adams, 34, Hutchinson, was traveling southeast on Kansas 96 approaching Arlington Road at the west city limits of Haven.
The driver made a left turn across the westbound lanes of Kansas 96. A northwest bound Chrysler 200 driven by Steven Christopher Barnes, 27, Hutchinson, struck the passenger side of the SUV. The impacted caused it to roll into the ditch on the NE corner of the intersection.
EMS transported Adams and her 7-year-old passenger to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Barnes, who was not wearing a seat belt, was not injured, according to the KHP
