We are looking for Crane Operators for large 100-ton to 900-ton cranes in Kansas.
Crane operators should be NCCCO certified and have prior verifiable experience and a clean safety record. Operators with CDLs are preferred. Most of our work is local so applicants must be willing to relocate to the Pratt, Kansas, area.
Trand, Inc. is a well-established and growing family-owned business located in Sawyer, Kansas, that provides crane rental services with an operator. We are proud of the team we have assembled and are seeking to add full-time, permanent crane operators.
Trand works for some of the largest customers in energy including wind energy, gas plants and oil refineries. Trand has RT and AT hydraulic cranes, ranging in size from 30 tons to 900 tons, and an LG1750, and offers strong advancement opportunities.
The job includes the following duties and expectations:
· Read and follow load charts and lift plans
· Perform daily equipment inspections and rigging inspections
· Operate cranes within precise limits and standards of capacity
· Must be able to follow directions whether written, verbal or signal
· Drive trucks hauling cranes or crane parts
· Assist in crane assembly and disassembly
· Complete electronic logs and work tickets on a daily basis
· Understand rigging
