Norma J. (Kittle) Anstine |1937-2021|

Norma Jean (Kittle) Anstine, 84, died May 13, 2021, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born March 10, 1937, in Turon, the third of seven children born to Stacy and Opal (Fountain) Kittle.

Norma graduated from Turon High School, and moved to Hutchinson in 1955, where she lived the rest of her life.

Norma worked in several office positions, including FarMarCo, before retiring from Farm Credit Services. She was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Doers Sunday School Class, which she helped establish in 1957. Norma will be remembered by family and friends as an exceptional cook, especially loved baking desserts.

On August 25, 1973, she married L. Duane Anstine, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson.

Norma is survived by: her husband of almost 48 years, Duane; daughters, Kate (Ric) Rudiger and Marjean (Alan) Meeder; grandson, Jeremy Grubbs; sisters, Rosemary Sutton and Darlene Schwamborn; brothers, Stacy Kittle and Buford Kittle; bonus daughter, Melody Weiss; bonus sons, Randy, Robert, Scott, Phillip, and Darin Anstine; four bonus grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; sisters, Twila Hoffman and Carolyn Gilmore; and grandsons, Mitchell Mueller and Dallis Grubbs.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 21, 2021, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1602 N. Main, with The Reverend Dr. Kim Biery officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
