Steven Laine Schreck, 61, passed away Monday, August 2, 2021 at his home. He was born on August 26, 1959 in Nashville, Kansas to Harold L. and E. Darlene (Simonson) Schreck. Steven graduated from Cunningham High School in 1977. He worked for Cross Manufacturing for 15 years. He enjoyed hunting, perfecting jerky, landscaping, gardening and hosting BBQ's and pool parties. He is survived by his son, Thomas Schreck of Pratt; daughter, Lyndsey Lee Schreck of Wichita; brother, Michael Schreck of Cunningham; nieces, Jennifer (Dr. Dan) Erickson of Murrieta, California and Christa Schreck of San Bernadino, California; and five grandchildren. Steven is preceded in death by his parents. Cremation has taken place. Friends may sign the book Thursday, August 19, 2021 and Friday, August 20, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Larrison Mortuary with Jan Blasi presiding. Memorials may be made to Cunningham Public Library in care of Larrison Mortuary.
