The fifty-first annual Pleasantview Spring Celebration is this Saturday.
The celebration used to be two days, but now it's packed into one day. Things start off with the pancake feed at the Pleasantview Activity Center that starts at 7:30 a.m and goes until 10:30 a.m.
Pleasantview has 22 businesses and all of them will be part of the celebration. Most of the businesses will be open on Saturday, but a few won't, but there will be information about each of the businesses at the pancake feed.
Other events scheduled for Saturday are the Emergency Vehicle Expo from 9 a.m. to Noon, and the Antique Tractor Show and Pull that starts at 11 a.m. These events are being held at the auction lot.
Pleasantview started with just three business and has grown to 22. Pleasantview is south of Hutchinson on K-61 highway.
