83-year-old Kan. man dead, 2 hospitalized after crash

WOODSON COUNTY—One person died in an accident just before 2p.m. Saturday in Woodson County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Ford Fusion driven by Raymond McIntosh, 83, Buffalo, Kansas, was westbound on 10th Road ten miles south of Yates Center..

The car came to a stop at the stop sign at U.S. 75 and then the driver failed to yield.  A southbound 2016 GMC Yukon driven by Gary Alan Flanagan, 74, Topeka, struck the Ford.

EMS transported McIntosh to  Fredonia Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead. EMS transported Flanagan and a passenger Brenda Flanagan, 60, Topeka, to the Coffey County Hospital.  McIntosh was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
