Pratt to host action-packed spring weekend April 25–27

PRATT, Kan. — A weekend of family-friendly fun, music, magic and sports is headed to Pratt, Kansas, from April 25 to 27, with a full slate of events designed to entertain visitors of all ages.

The festivities begin with a comedy and magic show at the historic Barron Theater, where comedic magician Zach Michel will perform April 25 and 26. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students, with presales available at Zach Michel Comedy Magician.

On April 26, music lovers can enjoy a live performance by Sail On, a Beach Boys tribute band, at Pratt Community College. Part of the Pratt Community Concert Association series, tickets will be available at the door for $15.

Cycling enthusiasts won’t want to miss the 8th Annual Open Range Gravel Race, also on April 26. Riders from across the U.S. and abroad will tackle scenic gravel routes, followed by a free community concert featuring the Aaron Traffas Band with Potz and the Meat Sweats. The race and concert will take place at the Municipal Building starting at noon.

Meanwhile, youth baseball and softball tournaments will run throughout the weekend at the Green Sports Complex. Known as a premier location for youth sports in South-Central Kansas, the complex offers convenient access to local hotels and well-stocked concessions. Whether you're looking for live entertainment, outdoor adventure or competitive sports, organizers say there's something for everyone in Pratt this spring.

“Come for the entertainment, stay for the action—Play in Pratt!” the city’s tourism board said in a statement.
