HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The ballot for Kansas House of Representatives District 104 will have the same two people on it this November as it did two years ago.

Former Heartland Credit Union CEO Garth Strand is running as a Democrat against Republican Paul Waggoner. Strand confirmed his candidacy to Hutch Post in a release on Tuesday.

Neither Waggoner or Strand have a primary opponent. Waggoner won in 2020 by a 63% to 37% margin.

District 104 has changed somewhat following reapportionment, as Inman is now a part of the district, along with Buhler and the northeast part of Hutchinson.
