YODER, Kan. — Another traditional celebration in Reno County has fallen victim to the pandemic.
Organizers of the Yoder Heritage Days celebration announced Monday that this year’s event has been canceled. The event was to be held on Aug. 22.
The organization said that it was unable to guarantee physical distancing during the event and the health and safety of the community was a top priority.
The group says it looks forward to bringing the event back in August of 2021.
