Dale Edward Miller, 75, died September 15, 2021, at Via Christi St. Francis Specialty Hospital, Wichita. He was born October 3, 1945, in Hutchinson, to Frank and Leona (Stucky) Miller.

Dale graduated from Hutchinson High School and then served in the United States Air Force. After the air force, he worked for Cessna/Eaton as a machinist for 32 years. Dale was a member of the American Legion Lysle Rishel Post #68, Amvets Post #11, and Westside Baptist Church.

On May 17, 1986, he married Lynda Jeane (Robinson) Fields, in Hutchinson.

Dale is survived by: his wife of 35 years, Lynda of Hutchinson; daughters, Koi Law (Brian) of Hutchinson and Karri Kirkendoll (John) of Lawson, MO; son, Jacob Fields of Pretty Prairie; sisters, Joyce Matthew and Shirley Newby; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; his beloved dog, Sarge; and numerous extended family members and friends. Dale was well-loved, and will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Doris Crawford.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 4, 2021, at Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Blvd., Hutchinson, with Pastor Eldon Smith officiating. Military honors will be conducted by McConnell Air Force Base Honor Guard. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, October 2, 2021, and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, October 3, 2021, with the family present from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Dale Miller Memorial Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
