A Harvey County Road and Bridge Department microsurfacing project is scheduled to begin the week of April 5.

The resurfacing program will include Burmac Road and Halstead Road, both from U.S. Highway 50 to the McPherson County line. The total project covers about 20 miles of roads.

Roadways will remain open to traffic during the resurfacing, but traffic delays should be expected. Traffic will be controlled and directed by flaggers and pilot car. Residents along the overlay routes will continue to have access to their properties throughout the program.

The microsurfacing project will be completed by Vance Brothers. The entirety of the scope of work is anticipated to be completed over three weeks from the start date, contingent on weath
