Robert Lee Campbell |1946-2021|

Robert Lee Campbell, 75, a life-long resident of Plevna, went home to Heaven on November 6, 2021, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.  He was born May 10, 1946, in Stafford, to Howard and Dorothy (Herriman) Campbell.

Lee was a 1964 graduate of Fairfield High School, Langdon.  On November 14, 1964, he married Kathy Ford. Together they had two children.  Lee and Kathy lived and farmed the Campbell family homestead and he worked at Cessna for 18 years.  They divorced in 1986, stopped farming in 1989, and he went to driving for Dillons Stores for 10 years.  Lee enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and his horses.

He is survived by:  daughter, Tamra (Donald) Langford of Plevna, and son, Aaron (Elizabeth) Campbell of Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Lindsey (Rod) Keener, Zach (Melissa) Langford, Dalton (Annie Harner) Langford, Reece (Vanessa Quitalig) Campbell, Mekenzie Campbell; great-granddaughters, Ella, Sophie, and Rose Langford; brother-in-law, Bob Cooper; companion, Deanna Vincent, and her granddaughter, Lindsay (Brett) Love.

He was preceded in death by:  parents; sisters, Bonnie and Linda; and brother, John.

Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Elliott Mortuary, with Aaron Campbell officiating. The service will be recorded and inserted to Lee’s obituary on the Elliott Mortuary website starting Tuesday, November 23, 2021.  Burial will be at a later date in Plevna Cemetery. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday at Elliott Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Floyd Redd Community Center, Plevna, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
