PRATT COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 3:30p.m. Saturday in Pratt County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2025 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Austin Craig Clifton, 29, Pratt, was westbound on U.S. 54 just west of SW 110th Avenue. The motorcycle rear-ended a 2022 Chevy Silverado driven by Kaylene Marie Black, 37, Pratt.
Clifton pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Larrison Mortuary. Black and a teen passenger in the pickup were not injured. Clifton was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
