Judith “Ann” Engelland, 78, of Lyons, entered the presence of the Lord on July 9, 2022, at Country Living of Lyons. She was born June 3, 1944, in Lenora, the daughter of Leonard and Doris Carr Clydesdale.

Ann has resided in Lyons and Chase since 1974, formerly of Lenora. She graduated from Lenora High School and received her Registered Nursing Degree from Ft. Hays State University. She worked as a RN at the Lyons Medical Center and Rice County District #1 Hospital for many years. Ann was known for her kindness and compassion and was loved by many patients and co-workers. She enjoyed caring for people around her. Ann was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Lyons. Ann enjoyed gardening, especially her roses, and taking sunset photos.

On February 24, 1994, Ann was united in marriage with Jack Engelland in Lyons. He survives of the home. She is also survived by her son, Andrew DuPont of Hayden, ID; two daughters, Robin Johnson of Spokane, WA, and Wendy DuPont of Deer Park, WA; stepdaughter, Amy Neisler of Lyons; brother, Robert Clydesdale and wife Sally of Lenora; two sisters, June Nold and husband Joe of Wichita, and Elaine Barton and husband Joe of Neosho, MO; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Ann was preceded in death by her parents; stepson, Jon Engelland; and a grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons, with Pastor Rob Bolton officiating. A private family burial will take place at Lyons Municipal Cemetery, Lyons. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M., Monday, July 11, 2022, at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons, with family present.
