
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Police are looking for a person of interest in connection with a Sunday morning homicide.
According to a release from Hutchinson Police Lt. Dustin Loepp, at 1:39 a.m. Sunday, officers on patrol near 5th and Hendricks heard gunshots north of their location.
While they were investigating, a 911 call came into dispatch advising of a shooting. Officers arrived in the 1500 block of West 12th where they contacted a 42 year-old black male laying in the street with gunshot wounds to his abdomen.
The victim was transferred to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment and is currently in stable condition. Officers located a second victim, a 46 year-old black male laying in the front yard of a nearby residence with a single gunshot wound to his chest. The 46 year-old was also taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was pronounced dead.
The identities of the victims are not being released.
Police are looking for Sandral Lee Wade. Wade is a 64-year-old Black male, 6’4” tall and 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
