HAVEN, Kan. — Haven USD 312 has named its first Impact Award winner for the 2021-22 school year.
The winner for this quarter is Mindy Barter. Barter has served the district for the past seven years and currently teaches at Haven High School. Barter was nominated by the students who produced hand-written letters in her support.
Barter is one of the high school representatives for the District Leadership Team and the MTSS Reading Team. She has been a past volleyball coach and still is connected to the program by working home events.
Bater will be recognized at Monday’s school board meeting. The Impact Award is handed out each quarter in USD 312. One of the four winners is then named the Impact Award winner for the year at the end of the school year.
