KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating another homicide in Kansas City.
Just after 9:30p.m. Tuesday, police were dispatched to a reported shooting in the 2400 block of College Avenue in Kansas City, according to Officer Alayna Gonzalez.
At the scene, officers were summoned to a nearby residence where a man was located just outside the front of the home. EMS responded and declared the victim deceased at the scene.
An adult male subject was on scene when officers arrived and was taken into custody without incident.
Detectives are not currently looking for any additional persons of interest. The circumstances leading up to the homicide are currently unknown.
Homicide detectives and crime scene personnel responded to gather evidence and collect witness statements.
