Mary Virginia Heidbreder |1927-2021|

Mary Virginia Heidbreder, 94, of Lindsborg, passed away at 12:16 A.M., Wednesday, November 10th, 2021 while in the company of family members at Riverview Estates, Marquette.

Mary was born in Hillsboro, Illinois on October 22, 1927, a daughter of Jessie Pearl (McClaine) and Raleigh Walter Scott.

Mary attended Hillsboro Illinois grade schools and graduated from Morrisonville High School, Morrisonville, Illinois. She then attended and graduated from Carthage College, Carthage, Illinois with her bachelors degree in English

She was a member of Lindsborg Covenant Church

Mary was a homemaker and she took great pride in providing for her family in this manner.

Mary enjoyed sewing, taking care of her grandkids and spending time with her friends and family. Mary donated blood regularly and received her 10 gallon pin before stopping in July 2018. Later on in her and John lives they enjoyed traveling in their RV around the US.

Mary Virginia Scott was united in marriage to John Cawthorn Heidbreder on September 10, 1950 at Hillsboro, Illinois. The young couple established their first home together in Minneapolis, MN. This union was blessed with the birth of four children, three daughters and one son, Florence, John, Margaret, and Katherine.

She is survived by her children, Florence Peterson and her husband Robert, of Lindsborg, Kansas, John Heidbreder, of Lindsborg,  Maggie Hall and her husband Brad, of Pagosa Springs, Colorado and Kathy Logan and her husband Matthew, of Wichita; her sisters, Betty Niesmann, of Pontiac, Illinois and Ellen Spencer and her husband Wayne, of Taylorville, Illinois.

She is also survived by 6 grandchildren Melissa Peterson(Mike VanDeVyVere), Joshua Peterson(Anastacia Taylor), Christina Brunzell, Nathan Hall, Samuel Logan (Therese) and Jessie Harms(Patrick)
8 great-grandchildren, Ethan Hall, Taylor Hall, Michael Hall, Jack Brunzell, Posey Logan, Autumn Logan, Abigail Harms, and Nayeli Peterson.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Fred and Raleigh Jr. and her sister Patricia.
